Ryder's 4 months

I'm a little late posting this. Ryder had his 4 month appointment a week late because his Dr. was out of town. He weighed 17.8 lbs., length was 26 3/4 in., and his head was 44 cm. We started him on rice cereal, what funny faces he makes. Ryder recently started sticking his tongue out. We were shopping an an elderly lady was talking baby talk to him, saying how cute he was, and he stuck his tongue out at her. I couldn't help but laugh. He also has discovered he can grab both feet. They haven't quite made it to his mouth yet. But everything else goes in the mouth. I got rid of the pacifiers since he sucks his thumb now. Today he realized he can roll on his left side, but isn't rolling over completely yet. He currently hates his swing and loves his excersauser. The time change hasn't affected our lives too much. I was so worried he would be waking too early. He now goes to bed at 7:00 p.m. and sleeps through the night until 7:30 a.m. He likes to lay in his crib and play for 30 minutes before I get him out. Mommy likes it also. I get to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee while he plays. Each day gets more and more fun. Were loving every minute.
First time eating rice cereal. He was gagging from the texture.

His new found love.

He has lots of new expressions!

Yeah! No more binkys!

I love the facial expressions he's making. Isn't it so much fun to watch them experiencing rice cereal and learning how to swallow it. We used to laugh so much when Hannah would eat that!
