Beautiful Disaster

We finally have our house back to normal. It was so hard, two days after a move when your not completely settled to have your house tore up. Since the fires things have not been easy. First with the place we were moving to burning, then 3 leaks in a week, stitches in my toe, were ready for the new year. Even though our new place has been a pain so far, we love it. It's small, quaint, and so warm. It's perfect and were so happy. My toe is healing slowly but surely. I had my stitches removed yesterday. I have been working this week and I will also be working next week. It's been a nice change. I'm filling in for one of the girls at Ry's pediatrician's office, she's on vacation. I'm really enjoying it, but I can't believe how exhausting it is. I feel like I'm on my feet going all day when I'm home with Ryder. But being on your feet all day working, getting home late, putting him to bed after spending 5 minutes with him, then feeding Danny, cleaning the kitchen, I was ready to crawl in bed at 9pm. I don't know how all of you (my friends who work and have little ones) do it. I feel like I would be a bad wife if I worked. I have a new appreciation for getting to stay home with Ryder. Thank you Danny, you are an amazing husband and father. I have always known that but I appreciate it sooooo much more after this very long week. I am so blessed!!!

This face makes me the happiest mommy in the world!

Great post title. Glad things are getting better. And yay for getting your stitches out!! Mine are out too, but the skin didn't really heal together so now it is just loose and flappy. I am so afraid my nail is going to fall off. It's so gross!

I hope your cold is getting better too!
Cute Santa hat Ryder is wearing!!
