Mothers Day was awesome. My mom, sister and I spent the Saturday of Mothers Day weekend together so I could spend Sunday with my boys. We went to California Adventure, swam at the pool and went to Sushi. Also we have the best kid friendly sushi place called Sheki. It's off of the 55 at Katella. Ryder made a mess with his rice at the sushi bar, the sushi chefs were doing magic tricks for the older kids and the owner bought Ryder 2 new toys. He gives all of the kids age appropriate toys to entertain them during dinner, and you get to keep them. Love it!
So this month Ryder turned 11 months. He still only has 2 teeth, but an upper is trying to come through. He has the new cutest squint and does this huge grin, melts my heart. He continues to babble new words. The other day he said "mama all done." I'm not sure if it was coincidence or he knew what he was saying. But he was in his high chair and he was all done. Genius! He started doing a few new things this month, pulling himself up and walking along furniture, he's learned to use a snack trap, went to the horse races, petting zoo, rode a pony, he does yoga, the splits, and is a contortionist.

We've been swimming every chance we get, at least a few times a week. He holds his breath for a few seconds, floats on his back and knows how to kick if you tell him to. Each and everyday is so much fun, I can't imagine if I worked how much I would miss out on!
Daddy is still working 6 days a week. Some days he's gone from 6:30am to 8:00pm. He has taken on 3 side projects after working all day at his regular job. He is a working machine and the $$$ definitely motivates him. He's the only man I know that works so hard with out ever complaining. We just booked a trip to Hawaii and that's the motivation right now. Ryder and I appreciate and love him so much!!!

Man my husband builds great stuff!
I recently got a job. I work 3-4 hours a week. Yes, a week, not a day. I'm teaching Stroller Strides and I LOVE it. I get to be with Ryder, workout and interact with other moms and kids. We have weekly play dates and monthly moms nights out. What an amazing group of women I'm a part of.
