We've been super busy! In the last few weeks we've been to the beach to see epic waves for O.C., the fair twice, the horse races, Ry started Gymboree, lots of swimming, concerts in the park, and too many birthday parties to count. Were also looking to buy a home in the next 2 months, mommy started training for her 1st triathlon, which takes up 12 hours a week working out. Summers are so much fun, but so busy also.
Ryder still isn't walking but he's happy crawling. He learned to clap this week, and also give kisses(mouth open) . His new words are turtle, Ryder, and boo (peek a boo). He now covers his face with his hands or a blanket to play peek a boo. He's back to sleeping in late. This week it's been between 9am-10am. I think he must be sneaking out his window at night, because he sleeps in like a teenager. Unfortunately he's dropped his second nap, I'm sure that's why.
The boys and I headed down to "The Wedge" early one morning when the wave faces were 20-30 feet. The waves only break here when there is a South swell which is only a few times a year. It's very dangerous and a lot of the waves break in very shallow water. Unfortunately the day before we went, a 50 year old man was killed here. (click on the pics. to enlarge)
This was the crowd at 9am
