Balls of wax

Sounds gross huh? Well it was!!! Poor Ryder was really fussy and crying recently which is really rare for him. Nothing would make him happy. His cries turned into a distressed scream and I knew something was wrong. His Dr. squeezed us in and on the way to his appointment it was raining SO HARD I almost turned around. Thankfully I didn't. I don't mind driving in the the rain but I was on the 91 and I couldn't even see out my window with my wipers going as fast as possible. Everyone on the freeway dropped their speed to 5 mph and turned there flashers on. Luckily that passed and we made it there. The Dr. checked his ears and he had so much wax in them he needed to get it out before being able to tell if he had an infection. He brings in this long metal gadget with a on eyelet on the end. As I held Ryder down the Dr. dug in his ears and was bring out HUGE balls of wax. Poor guy had them in both ears. After 15 minutes of torture and broken blood vessels all over his face from screaming, we were able to see that he had a double ear infection. He seems to be feeling better and hopefully we won't have to do that again!!!
