23 months
Ryder will be 2 next month. Just to type that is crazy to me. Definately the 2 fastest years of my life. I really want time to slow down because I LOVE this age. Ryder seriously has the cutest personality. Everyday I'm amazed by him. He's talking full sentences and has a crazy memory. The other day he decided he wanted to call Cash, I hadn't seen his phone in days. He walks out to the garage, gets in a crate, gets his phone and while walking back in the house says"Hi Cash." He is OBSESSED with VW's. He calls them V Dub. He wakes up in the morning and the first thing he says is "V dub, are you? That and motorcycles. Every time he sees one it's "grandpa motorcycle Harley Davidson." I love that he talk so much but lately it has been embarrassing. We were in the doctor's office the other day and while we were checking out he says in a room full of people "dada farted outside and mama poo pooed." Yep that's my son. In the Old Navy dressing room (pregnant women have a lot of gas okay, and it was just the two of us) and I tooted (did I just really type that?). Ryder says so loud "ooh mama stinky" I tried to play it off in case anyone heard "Ryder, do you have a poo poo?" He responds " No mama, you stinky." I had to laugh. Great now I can't even pass gas in front of my not even 2 year old. He is so much fun we can't wait until Regan gets here but at the same time I'm enjoying my 1 on 1 time with Ry. In 4 1/2 months from now, life will sure be different! I love Ryder SO much that sometimes I'm scared that I will have to share my love once Regan comes. How can I possibly love this much again? I know I will the second I see her, it's just hard to imagine right now.

that is too funny shelb! heh..
Haha, that is hilarious. I agree that this age is great. It just keeps getting better though as their vocabulary grows. Talan is 2 1/2 and sometimes the things he says amazes me and cracks me up! They are smarter than you think! Oh and the part about not knowing how you can love another baby as much as you love Ryder...I went through the same thing. I felt guilty about it before Gavin was even here...but the crazy thing is, your heart grows when you see your new baby and you have just as much love for them. I know it will be the same way for you!
I understand the feeling about not thinking you can love anyone like you do your firstborn, but that old maxim is still a good one: "A mother's love doesn't divide; it multiplies." It's cheesy, but it is very true...
Haven't talked to you in a while Shelbie. Hope everything is going great!!!
