Busy, Busy, Busy

Two weeks ago we moved to Corona and we've been busy getting settled. Danny did so much to the house in the weeks before we moved, it looks beautiful. It's basically a brand new home on the inside minus the kitchen, which we will remodel by next year. Two of my favorite things he did are new windows and solid wood doors. The windows have kept our house so cool with the hot weather we've had this week and the doors allow us to be as loud as we want while Ryder is sleeping. Whether were hanging pictures or listening to the music way too loud, he can't hear a thing. Also all new kitchen appliances and a new washer and dryer. Ive never been so excited to clean and cook. I almost forgot, our jacuzzi tub. It's heaven at the end of the day. Were all just so excited to be in our own home. Ryder is loving the backyard! From the second he wakes up the first thing he says is "outside." Sid is loving laying in the sun and running around after Ryder. Danny is loving coming home early on Fridays to mow the lawn then sit in the back yard and have a beer while Ryder plays. I'm most loving the fact that everything is new and I get to decorate!!! We love the community. Ryder and I are back to doing Stroller Strides and meeting new friends. There are parks everywhere and lots to do as a family.
Two weeks prior to the move Ryder was really sick. After 11 days he ended up in the hospital to get some IV fluid. I knew it was more than a virus even though everyone was trying to convince me otherwise. As a mom, when it comes to your children, ALWAYS trust your gut. The day after we moved we got his test results and he had salmonella. The diarrhea lasted 21 days. He lost over 10% of his body weight and refused to eat or drink. We had to hold him down and syringe feed him. He's doing much better now. Has his appetite back and were trying to plump him back up.

Here's my 18 belly picture

Ry finally passed out with his IV
