Holding her in!

An update on her....I haven't blogged much about my pregnancy because I haven't had the time or made the time. But now I have plenty of time on my hands. I'm not happy about it but it has to happen. I had been having contractions since I was 18 weeks pregnant. They took me off of exercise and the contractions went away for the most part. So at 30 weeks my Dr. said I could resume all normal activity. I did and 3 days later ended up in the hospital with contractions 1 minute apart. Danny was with Ryder at home and I thought I was going to be delivering a baby without my husband at 30 weeks. A little scary! They were able to stop the contractions with meds and now I'm on bed rest and medication to keep them at bay. I'm allowed to shower once a day, go to the restroom and doctors appointments. Other than that, I'm on my back. Unfortunately Regan is so low when I stand the pressure is so bad it feels like she's going to fall out. (I'm sure it's close to the same feeling of being in labor) So even walking to the bathroom is not fun. Typically they would let me off of bed rest at 36 weeks and let nature take it's course but after talking to my doctor today, it doesn't sound like I will be so lucky. Since I'm having a repeat scheduled c-section they don't want me going into natural labor. So I may be on bed rest until 39 weeks (10/05) when I am scheduled for surgery. I feel the worst for Ryder but I know he won't remember this time. I was really looking forward to spending these last 2 months with him doing as many fun things as we can just the 2 of us. [tear] I still want to make our time enjoyable and not just watching t.v.
If anyone has blogs they follow or websites they use for crafts with kids that they love, please leave a comment and share them with me. Something that I can do with him sitting down or in bed that will still be fun for us.

Oh Shelbie, so sorry you have to have bed rest. I would go nuts! If i think of anything super fun, I will message you. You look great, by the way. Take care. And Ryder is adorable.

I'm so sorry you have to be on bed rest right now! I can't imagine what it's like to entertain a toddler while on bed rest.

You look so great in your picture. Cute shirt, cute shoes, and good hair day!

oh shelb...I didn't know about all of this! Yikes!! I think a good place to look for inspiration to do some kids crafts is the martha stewart website. She has TONS of stuff that might be easy for you do. Also, I googled "creating crafts with household items" since I thought it might be hard for you to get out and found this website. Looks pretty cool http://www.savvysource.com/kids/c256_crafts-household-items_activities
