I cant believe you are 2 1/2 years old. Time is flying and I want to hold on to every minute of it. I feel like yesterday you were just a baby. These last few months since Regan's birth have been really challenging for all of us. You have been so understanding and mature well beyond your years in handling it all. You care so much about your sister and through this tough time you have been such a trooper.
You are so well mannered and so sweet. You tell me daily that you love me and thank me constantly for all I for you.
You are so silly and very fun to be around. You are the funniest person I know. I'm in tears daily from laughing so hard by the hilarious things that come out of your mouth. I really need to start writing them down!
You are such a big helper. You love to mimic both Daddy and I. And you are so your fathers son!!! You are always getting out his screwdrivers and trying to take apart your toys. I constantly see you on your little cell phone having full one way conversations with family and friends. It cracks me up to her the things you say during your fake phone conversations.
You love school and are constantly talk about how much you like Ms. Rachel. Unfortunately we had to take you out of school for a few months since your sis has been so sick per the Dr.s orders. But you will be returning soon enough buddy!
You are genius. I'm not saying that because I'm your mom, you are bright beyond your years. You have been counting to 20 and to 10 in Spanish for months now. You now all of your letters and the sound every letter makes. You can spell your name, Regan's, mama, dada and Mimi. We are trying to teach you to read since you can sound letters out, soon I'm sure. You know your colors and numbers. You know your phone number and where we live. It's amazing we can tell you something once and you will remember it FOREVER! It amazes me that we carry on full conversations and you vocabulary is extensive.
You are shy around new people but open up very quickly, you are mellow and very strong willed. The terrible two's have not been so terrible, you have your moments but for the most part your a very easy child!
Thank you for that. You have been potty trained since a week after your 2nd birthday and finally just started pooping on the toilet. You love your new twin sized big boy bed, but you keep getting out of it at night to wake us up.
Your smile is sweet, your laugh infectious and I love our time together! You make me the happiest mom in the world! You will never understand until you have children of your own how much your daddy and I love you!

Wow what a special little boy you have there. He sounds so bright. He reminds me of my oldest, Bethany. She learned her letters and sounds so fast we decided to teach her to read. She is an excellent reader now and loves to read. I found the Very first reading series by usborne books extremely helpful. You can check it out at www.amazingchildrensbooks.com or email me Kelly.s.kempton@gmail.com. good books are hard to find for early readers(esecially phoenics baswd)usborne is awesome. Anyway I didn't mean to make this an advertisement, I just thought it might help.
OK Mama! You need to print that post! I LOVED it! What an amazing family you have! Congrats!
