I say this every month but I seriously don't know where time has gone. I feel like we were just celebrating Ryder's 1st birthday. I have a love/hate relationship with this age. I mostly love it but hate the tantrums! I know that will get better once he can communicate more but it's hard not knowing why he's throwing a fit. He had his Dr.'s appointment yesterday wasn't happy to be there. The Dr. said he has 4 molars coming in all at the same time, which makes sense why we've had such a rough two weeks. He weighed 26 lbs. 10 ozs., was 34 inches tall and his head is HUGE. Almost off the charts. Must be why he's so smart. His vocabulary has increased to over 100 words and he repeats everything we say, I really need to watch my mouth! His favorite things to say are Santa (Seen-ta), airplane (air-play), tractor (which he says perfectly) and yellow (yea-yo). I love his little voice. Some of this favorite things are bananas, Gymboree, the library, Elmo, and taking baths. He is going through major separation anxiety right now. I have to shower while he sleeps, put on my make up when he's in the bath, go the the restroom with him watching me and cook while I trip over him at my ankles. So I greatly appreciate MY time while he naps. Danny and I are so looking forward to Christmas! We can't wait to see his excitement for all of his new toys! I'm sure each Christmas gets better and better.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! XO
