Merry Christmas!

Christmas was WONDERFUL this year! We had a relaxing Christmas Eve. We drove around looking at lights, got pizza, and I read Twilight and drank wine while watching Danny build Ryder's toys. Danny and I were so excited to see Ryder open his gifts!!! Ryder decided to wake up at 7am Christmas morning (which is really early for us). He walked into the living room and it was love at first sight. "His kitchen, or Chef station as we call it." He loved it so much he could care less about the rest of his gifts. Danny and I were doing a really small exchange between the two of us since we hoping to be opening escrow on a house in the next 2 weeks and were planning on pretty much gutting it. But Daddy and Ry broke the rules and surprised me with a laptop. My mom, Andy, Haylee and Brian (sister and BIL) came over early afternoon to spend the day with us. Ryder's "new favorite" a shopping cart filled with food from auntie and uncle. He pushed that cart around the house for at least an hour with out stopping. We had a wonderful lunch and headed over to Danny's bosses house. They spoiled Ryder with a quad (which he's deathly afraid of). Then we spent tonight with Danny's brother Alex, his wife Kelly and our nephew Landon for a late Christmas. Ryder got a fire truck and a monster truck and now those are his new "favorites". Our tiny little place looks like Toys R Us. That's no exaggeration. How does one little guy have so much stuff. I swear a week from now he will want to play with Tupperware and wooden spoons. This was definitely the best Christmas so far and with kids I'm sure each year gets more fun. Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!
