I'm having the worst day!
I was at the mall at 10am this morning to beat the crowds and Ryder was a monster!!! I went to the MAC store and Ryder threw a fit and decided to throw Cheerios all over the ground. I'm trying to clean up after him while patiently waiting for the girl helping me to HURRY UP AND GET MY PRODUCT! We run into Bath and Body Works. All I need is a gift card, I will be quick. Well the line was 20 people long at 10:18. The mall had only been open for 18 minutes. Seriously? As I stand in line Ryder decides to pull everything he can off of the shelves around him. The store is so cramped I have no choice but to be close to merchandise in my sons reach. As I struggle to put everything back my stroller brake isn't on and slams into a display. I regroup and Ryder takes off his shoes and throws them. As I'm picking them up a gentleman is handing me Ryder's socks that he's already tossed among with books, Hot Wheels, milk and anything else he can get his hands on. I'm looking like one of those moms who people are thinking "thank God she only has one, she can't even handle him!" I'm out of here! If he was older I swear I would of taken him to the bathroom and given him a whooping. I get to the car and he fights me, he doesn't want to get in his car seat. Arching his back making it impossible to get him buckled in. At this point I'm wishing Danny were here to witness how BAD our son is acting! He screamed the whole way home. As I put him in his crib he tells me "no no" laughs and starts clapping his hands. Is he mocking already at 18 months? I put him down for a nap and decided to FINALLY blog about Thanksgiving and after 45 minutes of blogging my draft is somehow erased?!? I'm so mad! Then Ryder wakes up crying. He's only been down for an hour! Then as I'm yelling at the computer and Ryder's monitor Danny comes in and pisses me off even more by calling me a grouch. I wish I were him today and could go to work for a few hours, wouldn't that be nice. My son who is 18 months has hit the terrible twos too early and mommy isn't prepared!!!

Some days just suck, don't they!!!
Hope it got better for you!
Sorry Shelbie. I hope your day got better! It seems like they always get more feisty in public. Its a good thing he's so darn cute right!!
Sorry Shelb! We all have those days. It reminds me of a day that I had with Hannah when she was 1 and we had lunch in Nordstrom, just the two of us. She was so awful, and embarrassing and of course it was so crowded and I felt like everyone was staring at me.
Good thing that doesn't happen everyday!!
Yikes...so sorry Shelb. I hear that happens sometimes with little ones. I can imagine that it is very hard running errands when your kids are not acting properly. Hang in there kiddo...I suggest more online shopping :).
