Beautiful Maui

So Hawaii was great!!! But the plane ride was stressful! I HATE to fly, I take medication and drink heavily on the plane. So flying with Ryder stressed me out even more. He didn't want to sleep at all. So after 8 hours of him being awake, I took him to the tiny plane bathroom and tried to rock him. I was stressed out, sweating, and wishing Danny could fit in the bathroom and could rock him to sleep. Ryder has always been a great sleeper and we have NEVER rocked him since the day he was born. He always puts himself to sleep, so he was not happy to be rocked in a stinky, tiny bathroom. After 10 minutes of screaming he was out cold. That lasted for all of 30 minutes. The flight home was about the same. So we are not flying to Australia anytime soon!!!

We were enjoying cocktails for our quiet 30 minutesFinally out

I'm always happy when my feet are back on the ground

Our beach

Our beach and pool
Loving the view

A boy of many faces
and many more

Deb and Dan (Danny's parents)

Our first night there

Loving attention from Granny

The turtles came to visit us at our beach everyday at happy hour

And one day a monk seal came to visit. He was just a few feet from me.

Old Lahaina Luau

Enjoying lunch at Hula Grill

Very, very windy on this side of the island

but so beautiful

Danny and I had a wonderful date day. This is where we started it at breakfast. Banana macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup

We took a few mile coastal walk through Kapalua

and ended up at the Ritz Carlton beach for the day. We snorkeled and I paddle surfed for the first time.
Date Night

We got a bit of showers on and off and the rainbows were beautiful

Great sunsets nightly

Of course, they day we were leaving the weather was amazing

Oh...I love Maui. Where did you stay? It looks kind of like where Greg and I stayed last summer at Sugar Beach. Glad you had such a great time!

Those are some awesome pictures! Glad you guys had fun.

It's always the most beautiful weather the day you have to leave.

And to answer your Q on my blog, Jake loves my hair. :)

Kris we stayed in Kahana. In between Kaanapali and Kapalua. The condos were called the Hale Mahina.
